Gym was by far the best part of our elementary school childhood experiences. Wheather you were rolling around on platforms zooming through the gymnasium, throwing up light feather scarves learning how to juggle, running around for a game of capture the flag, or gathering under a giant rainbow parachute, it was always the highlight of the school day.

There is always your typical organized sports offered in gym class, like soccer, football, kickball, volleyball, anbd basketball.. You know the “basic” sports offered at nearly every public school. But vermont has added one special sport to their gym class itinerary, skateboarding, something that is not often- if at all- offered to kids in gym class.

Students at Neshobe Elemntry School in Brandon, VT get the chase to learnt he fun and skill building essentials that skateboarding has to offer during gym class. Check out the local news coverage below!
