Steelers Make Practice Squad Change
USA TODAY Sports

The Pittsburgh Steelers are making a change on their practice squad, swapping out a member of their secondary for a returning wide receiver as they prepare for the Arizona Cardinals in Week 12.

The Steelers announced they have signed wideout Jacob Copeland to their practice squad while releasing safety Jalen Elliott.

Copeland returns to the Steelers for his second stint this season - the first coming in Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns. The University of Maryland product started his career as an undrafted rookie with the Tennessee Titans and eventually made his way to the Minnesota Vikings during training camp.

Now, he'll return to Pittsburgh with the possibility of sticking with the team the rest of the season.

Elliott spent some of the summer with the Steelers, signing in training camp before being released just before the season. He returned to Pittsburgh as a member of the practice squad late last month.
